Build your career with someone who understands the industry from the inside. Free for crew, always.

How it works

Four steps, and a real person at each one

  1. 01

    Send your CV

A yachting CV with a recent photograph, your certificates and your availability.

  2. 02

    A proper read

One person reads it. Not a keyword filter, and not an account manager who has never seen a boat.

  3. 03

    References and checks

Previous captains contacted by phone, with CrewPass background verification.

  4. 04

    The right introduction

You hear from us when something fits the experience and the kind of boat you actually want.

Frequently asked

Questions from crew

Does it cost anything to register?

No, and it never will. Under MLC 2006 a recruitment and placement service cannot charge seafarers a fee for finding them work. Crew are never invoiced for placement.

What do I need before registering?

An up-to-date yachting CV with a photograph, STCW basic safety training and a valid ENG1 medical. Powerboat Level 2 for deck roles, or food safety certification for interior and galley, will strengthen an application.

Will you find me a job with no experience?

Sometimes. Deckhand and junior interior roles do go to first-season crew, particularly where there is a strong bosun or chief stewardess to train them. You will get an honest answer either way rather than being left waiting.

How does background checking work?

References are taken by phone with previous captains and heads of department. CrewPass is used for background verification, which many yachts and management companies now expect as standard.

What happens after I register?

Your CV is read and kept on file. You will be contacted when a role genuinely matches, rather than every time any vacancy opens. Keep certificates and availability current so the match is accurate.
